A ProudBoy Book Review: Jim Goad’s Redneck Manifesto

"Every title, every sentence, every word, Goad fucking nails it."

Normally when I read a good book I give it away or let somebody borrow it after.

Who reads a book twice, right? I won’t be letting anybody borrow Jim Goad’s ‘Redneck Manifesto’. I’m keeping this book forever. I’m not going to reading it once; I’m going to study it. This isn’t just a book. It’s a beautiful work of art.

I first learned about Jim Goad, via the holy Church of No Wanks, The Gavin McInnes Show. After enjoying Jim’s personality on the show and looking over The Proud Boy reading list (Will Post Shortly), the ‘RedNeck Manifesto’ title stood out and the decision to purchase was made. Done deal.

Oh, it’s a done deal.

This book is so good, so fucking good.

It’s chicken soup for the Proud Boy soul. This is Proud Boy Holy scripture. We have our church in the form of TGMS, this book could be our bible.

Have you ever read a book so good you had to briefly put it down, take a deep breath, and go for a walk? I did that several times while reading The Red Neck Manifesto.

The book contains some quotes from our forefathers that every Proud Boy Should know, shit, probably memorize.

I just want to include some FF quotes that Goad included:

Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the American people’s liberty teeth and keystone under independence. The church, the plow, the prairie wagon, and the citizen’s firearms are indelibly related …When firearms go, all goes — we need them every hour.” –George Washington

“The great object is that every man be armed” and “everyone who is able may have a gun.” -Patrick Henry

The Constitution shall never be construed…to prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms. – Samuel Adams

The best we can hope for concerning the people at large is that they be properly armed.” – Samuel Adams

“The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.” – Thomas Jefferson

My copy of the book is full of highlighted text of words I didn’t know; Goad’s vocabulary is deep.

The last three chapters are when the book really shines.

Chapter 10 titled “Several Compelling Arguments for the Enslavement of All White Liberals” is my personal favorite. Every title, every sentence, every word, Goad fucking nails it. This book is so good you read a few paragraphs and let out an involuntary, “DUDE”!
